This maternity session was such a fun mix! We did dressy and casual photos, mom-only and family shots, some with props and some without. Basically the best of everything!
Amanda and Robert and their sweet kiddos Colette and Charlie came in to my photo studio in Eugene to capture some maternity photos in preparation for new baby girl Bobbie. They were so excited to welcome her! I love it when the whole family joins in with mom’s pregnancy photos. The variety of couples photos, mom-only pics, and images of mom and her older babies is just so fun. I think having all of the family involved also adds to the excitement and anticipation!
Amanda wanted to have some casual outfit shots as well as some images with a pretty maternity gown. So she brought jeans, a button-up with lacy bra, and a cute cropped sweater from home. This is such a great idea for casual outfits in particular!
I have a whole closet full of maternity dresses for moms to choose from—because let’s be honest, when else are you going to wear a gorgeous formal dress like that during your pregnancy? It makes sense for most people to just borrow a dress from my client wardrobe rather than spend money on one of their own. But for a cute casual look, nothing beats the comfort of clothes that you already love!
Once we got our mom and family maternity photos and had all the casual outfit pictures we wanted, Amanda changed into a green sequined gown for some beautiful backlit images. It was such a pretty color for her!
